Default Will not start
I get out of the car (1996 C4) go inside store, come back “Security light” stays on, car will not start. Checked battery 12.9V AC comes on, rear view mirror lights up manually. This has happened before and when a tow truck arrived, without any assistance,the car starts. On another occasion I just waited it out and it started. What’s going on. Help!

Take a deep breath walk away wait for 15 minutes with key out , wipe key off or use another key and try again. A dirt/pocket damp chip can leave you wanting on VATs
