I just serviced both inner and outer doors on my 89 convertible. From your movies it appears that either the window mounting hardware to the regulator is missing or loose or the regulator rollers are simply shot or are coming out of their tracks because your window glass is pivoting forward and backward when it should be locked in place as the window goes up and down.. Look down into the door from the top of the window opening and you should be able to see where it is hanging up. There is also a rubber bumper that goes on the bottom of the inner door that the window regulator bumps against that must be installed. Most of the time the rubber piece gets knocked loose from the moutning hole and is rolling around inside the inner door bottom. Check for that piece as well.
On mine, someone had misrouted the power mirror harness on the driver door and it was catching on the front bottom of the window. I secured it back where it belonged and my window functioned properly again.
Post your results after you do some more inspection of the inner door workings. Also a great time to lube up the lock and door latch assemblies.
Just a suggestion, but why don't you take your car to Auto Glass Company, they do make house calls, and have them look, it's there business to repair windows and when I owned C4, I was told there adjustment, there experts is what they do best.

I have an 86 also, that was the last year for the Ribbon style window regulator in which had a lot of problems, the next year Corvette switched to the Scissor style regulator. My old style reg's wore out and I switched to the new Scissor type. Its been about 5 years now an have'nt had a problem. Its not an easy job making the switch but its worth the time & effort.
