What hose does one use for the exhaust to EGR? There was a short piece of heater hose used before. No clamps were present before but does it need clamps on both ends of the hose?
On my 92 it has a similar hose. It is high temp and it uses those black plastic clamps that you can use your thumb and fingers to pinch/squeeze tight. They have teeth that lock. I would check the wrecking yards for those hoses and clamps. A lot of the GM cars like camaros and firebirds have the same set up.
Most auto parts stores will have emission spec hose with the correct ID. Once you have the hose those 'snapper' style clamps aren't that difficult a find. Not easy but not difficult. A somewhat local hardware keeps a few. I believe they stock HellermannTyton brand.
