Default IAT connector

Does it matter which wire goes to which pin on it? When I had the plenum off I accidentally ripped my wires out of the connector and need to repin it but not sure which one goes to which pin.

In the 1990 FSM, the Manifold Air Temp sensor is shown as a two-wire variable resistor. Assuming that's really how the device is, it generally doesn't matter which pin goes to which end. The only caveat is if the body of the sensor is also somehow a redundant ground connection. I'd use a multimeter and as long as neither of the wires has continuity with the body of the sensor, it's probably safe to wire it back up whichever way you want. If you post what year you've got, however, someone on here might be able to give you the wire color codes from the FSM diagram to get it back to original
