84-89 Gauge options?
I’m throwing in the towel on the old Atari Dash nightmare. Replaced it a new few years ago and it’s intermittently going dark on me again.
gone through ever ground and nothing.
I never liked the look of it anyway.
is there a good upgrade available?
ive seen the Dakota Digital units but they seem like a problem to install, maybe I’m wrong.
is there a Analog unit available still, vettaid ect?
Anyone have one for sale?
Have not checked any of them out as I'm still using my original but try googling :c4 corvette replacement instrument cluster
That should bring you a number of options.

I did, all I found was Dakota Digital and some abomination from a company called Intellronix. I was hoping for a more Analog style like this.

Thanks!
I hate to see people give up on the digital dash. Those analog ones are a downgrade IMO, and I don't think you get all the functions of the original.. There are several services that will fix your digital dash. I have used Gary's Corvettes for my 85 and 88, and Batee has a very good reputation on here.
You'll lose cruise control with an aftermarket cluster. As 1985 above says, there are lots of places that can fix it. Batee is reputable and reasonable. He even helps us DIY guys by selling the parts and providing the technical details for free. Besides, an aftermarket cluster will reduce your resale value.

Thanks guys!
I did originally sent my cluster to Batee, and they rebuilt it.
It worked for 6 months then started acting up again.
I sent it back and they said it was fine, said maybe there was a loose ground somewhere.
I totally ripped the car apart looking for it and no luck, it's been 3 years of searching.
I sent it off to a Corvette restoration shop and they can't seem to find any bad grounds, they seem to think it is the cluster.
I know it's subjective but I never like the look of the Digital dash from day one.
I'm just going to put this cluster in it for now, just so I can get an Inspection sticker and actually drive the car.
I know it's not the best looking unit but I miss driving this Vette, it's been almost 4 years of frustration. ow
This is mine. Sorry the pictures are so fuzzy. My phone camera was fogged up.
I used sheet metal to make steel back plates. I used construction adhesive to bond them to the factory bezel. The gauges are all Intelitronix. The idiot lights (turn, high beam, low oil, over temp, battery, SES and brake) are all cheap LED's from ebay. The oil light is run by an Arduino in the dash that is fed a signal from an oil pan float switch. The battery light is wired off of a relay under the hood in series with the alternator winding. Over temp and SES are powered by the Holley ECU. If AFR or knock counts gets too high it blinks. The brake light is wired to the e-brake.
I couldn't get rid of the factory cluster fast enough.

kinda piggy back off last post. Anyhow, I was looking to see where ya all tapping into for turn sigs and the brights. I was looking for a seevice electrical manuel at the library, but all they had was your basic diy haynes, and those didnt have great info maybe black and white I was looking for..

That is SO much better looking than the stock cluster. I despise the cluster in my '84.
I'd welcome more detail on that cluster if available.
The stock digital dash is a gem for these cars. They are so cool and fit the overall style of it.
Before you swap it, ensure that the problem is in the dash, and not outside. I'd monitor the power input and ground to see that it's there when dash comes out. Before what can happen that the problem would persist with a new dash.
