Got this 1985 from a relative recently. Has been sitting in a garage for a couple decades and I'm planning to work on it to dip my toes into the car world. After parking in my garage, I noticed one side of the exhaust was moving a LOT more than the other side. Upon inspection of the underside of the car, this is what I saw.
LEFT SIDE
RIGHT SIDE
As you can see, the left side is in need of some repair. I'm not exactly sure what kind of work has been done to this car, but I do know the engine and possibly exhaust is not completely stock. I haven't been able to find any info about how the exhaust is mounted in this fashion, so any information is greatly appreciated.
tl;dr: See images. What is the best course of action to fix this?

The muffler shop just "tacked" hangers to the shells of your aftermarket mufflers. One of them broke loose...probably because they didn't rough it up enough. Just have a shop tack it again. Easy Peazy.
I agree weld it up to seal and secure, see if you can get two super long worm clamps to hug the muffler and bracket
you can buy cut to fit straps & clamps from Amazon
