Pinion Seal

I'm need to replace the pinion seal on an '85 D36 3.07 rear differential. I'm looking at several and wonder if anyone has used any of these.

Here's one at ZIP
ZIP Corvette Differential Seal

Here's a couple from Rock Auto
BCA Pinion Seal
Timken Pinion Seal

The ZIP seal doesn't give a lot of info.
I like the BCA seal because it's Viton, but it gives a width of 0.645 inch.
The Timken seal has a width of 0.608 inch, which seems to be a more common width.

If anyone has used any of these seals or had success with a different one I'd like to hear from you.

I've thought about the pinion nut also, but a lot of what I've read about replacing the seal says to mark the pinion nuts position and reinstall it to the same position.
How would that work using a new nut?

Pinion nut is a 'Prevailing Torque' fabrication and intended NOT to be reused. Is it often reused? Yes very often.
