9th injector removal question

9th injector removal question
As you can see from the photo there is hot lead that goes back into the wiring harness. What are you guys doing to remove the injector to coolant temp sensor connector with that hot lead?

You can just leave it disconnected. It is an independent circuit that uses a timer in the temp sensor. It is not connected to the ecm so no code will be set.

Chuck, if you want to clean up that area just clip the two wires, one shorter than the other, tape them together (or use heat-shrink tubing over the ends) and tuck em into the harness.

Thats what I did to mine..just clipped them..put on some heat shrink and tucked them inside the loom...no problem
