I have a 1994 with the fx3 suspension and need to replace the shocks.having a real bad time finding them. What shocks can be installed other than the fx3's.any suggestions will be a great help. I have looked at the bilstiens for z51's but I'm looking for somebody who can give me some good info.
I saw these on eBay too but I've got burned before buying used things so I will keep looking for new fx3 shocks but in meantime I thing I will replace with the bilstiens.
Just need the right part numbers i see some that are for lowered suspensions and I don't need those b8's I think they are called.
Also looking at some from QA1 that look promising.
If you are looking at the QA1 single adjustable shocks spend the couple of extra bucks and go with the Ridetech brand instead. I have the QA1s and a buddy has the Ridetechs and I like them a lot more.
There was a set in parts subforum where someone was parting a 94 votech car. Votech cars aren't necessarily bad cars just ones the GM won't sell to the public for some reason.

I second the Ridetech-- have them on my '93 and love them. won't work w/the F3 system in your cockpit, but they are easy to adjust at the 4 points without having to pull anything.
