hey everyone, i recently changed out the photocell in my 85 corvettes cluster because it was dim to the point where i couldn't read it at night. it worked perfectly fine during the day. after replacing the photocell it got a little better but its still very dim at night for some reason anybody know why?

i replaced all the bulbs with brand new xenon bulbs and the headlight switch is turned fully to the right
When you turn it left does it dim? Reason I ask is that went out on my car recently and I'm experiencing the same thing you are with the digi dash. Ironically enough, not long after I rebuilt the dash too. I should have swapped it when I had the dash skeleton out replacing it. It looked old but was functioning well so left it as is. I have the part but haven't gotten around to putting it in.

If the brightness of the dash (not just the digi dash but all dash lights) doesn't change when spinning the headlight switch left and right then my bet is that your headlight switch has gone bad.
