1985 AC compressor help
Changing out the AC compressor on my 1985. Ordered new compressor from Rock Auto. I noticed this connector on my old compressor that is not on my new one. I don’t remember disconnecting anything from here. What is this connector? Bottom left in first photo, close up of it in the 2nd. Thank you in advance for your help.
This is just a guess.
It could be a mating point for mounting. I would see if the new one mounts flat or correctly.
Or, might be a oil port cause it looks like it might screw out. For draining or filling the compressor oil.
