SuperRam Install Complete
And after a few cranks, getting the fuel back up through the system, she fired right up!
Only sticking points were grinding the valve covers to clear the runners and running the injector wiring/connectors under the plenum.
Numerous thanks go out to.............
JD, Brian, Rich, Mitch, Jesse to name a few, and others who walked me through this project.
Once the roads clear a bit I'll be taking her for a :steering:
Thanks everybody,
Chuck

Great job.
Now, i'd love to see some track times. I guess we'll have to wait until March or so.

Thanks all
When the roads clear some I'll be taking it for a spin. All Iv'e done was fire it up in the garage so no test data yet. It will be track tested :yesnod: however not until spring.

Re: SuperRam Install Complete (chucks88)
Did you just install the Superram with the stock cam and heads? I'd be interested how this turns out since I also have an '88 and have been looking at getting a Supper ram since I need to remove the intake to fix a leak. You know the old story, since I have it off I might as well change it.

Re: SuperRam Install Complete (ZAD54)
Zad,
Yes, I'm going with stock heads and cam for now. You at least need headers to realy pick up anything substatial when adding a SR to an engine with stock heads/cam.
In my search I've read gains ranging from .3 to .5 in ET's from a SR/Headers on a stock Head/cam engine.
I'll find out for sure in the spring. I am also having a custom Prom burned by ski_down_it (Jesse) when I can did up a couple hundred bucks.

I checked out your site...that car is FAST with just the mods you have...holy COW. You should see some nice gains from the SR. Can't wait to hear how it does..
