SUPERRAM WORTH MONEY IF SO WOULD LIKE FOR MY 96 [ANY ADVISE]
You can't put a super ram on your 96 and there wouldn't be a real reason for you to need it either. The super ram is a replacement for the extremely restrictive stock TPI intake setup. The LT1 intake will make a lot of power without ever touching it, you just need to skip directly to the heads / cam.

Yes you can. There is an LT1 version of the superram with the correct intake manifold bolt pattern. I wouldn't advise it, but you can.
I checked out your site...that car is FAST with just the mods you have...holy COW. You should see some nice gains from the SR. Can't wait to hear how it does..
I'd said that once before! He's got minimal mods and is almost in the 12's! How I'd like to go back to that combo some days! LOW MAINTENANCE :D It certainly applies to my car and to me, the faster you go...the more headaches(Not always).
If I'm not mistaken, Chuck is like the rest of us junkies! I think a 219 and some sort of improved cylinder head is finding it's way on to the car in the future. And why not? It's a good...tried and true combo.
Good Job, those same guys really helped me out alot during my install also.. especially Scorp and Ski.
The SR runs real sweet and fires right up, and that great???
I'm waiting for Moroso Dragway to open on the 15 to get some times also, I will do a dyno, soon, but I am scared to find out that maybe it didnt get the HP I wanted...but maybe it will surprise me!
I Put aside about 4 hours of time when I set out to put the Camber Brace on. I didn't need it. I completed the project in an hour including raising and lowering the car. A difference? You bet. Convertibles are a little sloppier than the coupes and really waranted buying one.

Why in the world would anybody even make that? Oh well, now I suppose we just get to wait for the LT1 version of the Mini Ram.......... oh wait a minute
I dunno. It might of been pushed towards autocrossers to promote more low end. It is pictured in Lingenfelter's modifying SBC book a few places I believe.
