Default Battery Tender Question

I recently purchased a 1994 C4 and am going to install a battery tender. I want to install the pigtails directly on the battery, which will require that I disconnect the battery from the car. Will this cause any issues with the computer or electronics that will require the computer to be reset. I’m no mechanic, so I just want to see if completely disconnecting the battery causes any issues - other than resetting the clock and the radio presets.

Thanks.

No. Clock and radio. Had my battery disconnected many times.

A C4 Vette should be able to sit for weeks with no issues.
When you turn the key there is a voltage gauge on the speedometer screen you can access through the option buttons behind the steering wheel.

You should be fine with just having to reset the clock. I run eight or nine battery tenders at any given time just to keep my vehicles ready. Since as I rotate them around, I have an extra pigtail connectors helps

I use a battery tender all the time. I have never felt the need to install the harness for quick connect. I can probably connect with the two alligator clips just as fast as the quick connect. If not I would only lose by 2-3 seconds. Dan
