Default Rear Wheel Bearings

I seem to have a bit of uneven wear on the rear tires. And when i put it up on the hoist i found that there is about a 1/4 in slop. The slop goes both up and down. Although the uneven wear on the tires is on the inside. Could it be something other than wheel bearings.?

The car has about 80,000 rounds on it.

Any information would be great...

1/4 " movement @ the 6 & 12' o'clock position? I'd say you are on borrowed time. Change the bearings..... :D

Check your camber settings, but fix that slop first. Replace the rear bearings and then have an alignment done. Should solve the problem provided nothing else is worn out too.

Yes, replace those bearing NOW.

Only other things it can be is bad alignment, very bad shocks, tire out of round(defective) or unbalanced.
