I am looking to buy new suspension parts for my 1995 c4, are there any that are known to fit or that are recommended? I intend to lower it an inch or so. Thanks!

You will need longer bolts for the rear and cut the pad on the front spring.
Or look into Coilovers and lowering is more precise and from what I have been told the ride and handling is far better.
Good Luck
Thanks

Any coilover recommendations or companies that make one for the c4? I can’t seem to find a whole lot for the car online.
Ride Tech makes a awesome adjustable shock.
I am running the non coil over version.
Send Grandsport a pm as he has the coil overs in Ride Tech and loves them.
Thanks Hawkeye56

Vansteel,Ridetech,Afterdarkspeed,Aldanam erican,Exoticmuscle, all make coilovers for c4s. You can also piece together your own which might be a tad bit cheaper theres a thread on here called DIY Coilovers for c4s. Thats what im doing currently qa1 shocks eibach springs and qa1/hardbar mounti g hardware for the front. You could save money on the springs and buy summits brand spring or hyperco.
Honestly, if all you want is to lower the car 1" and you don't want to change spring rates, there is zero reason to spend over $2k-$5k on good coilovers.* Spend $50 on lowering bolts and wedges, but yourself a six-pack, and install it.
I have the Ridetech setup SKU: 11560201 for $3175. It is expensive for sure but it also transformed my cars handling (original Z51 car).
I didn't mind spending the money on a quality kit and it really is a well thought out kit.
It is reasonably easy to install and you have full control over your ride height. The shocks are single adjustable made by FOX. The Springs are Hyperco, sway bars are custom made in house, all the sway bar mounts and brackets are included, sway bar end links are included and are adjustable heim joints, it comes with Delrin front upper and lower control arm bushings, reinforced lower schock absorber mounting brackets are included for the rear shocks, all bolts and washers, etc. There are no polyurethane bushings in the kit everything is Delrin.
It is a very complete kit as it should be for the price.
I didn't really care about lowering my car as much as trying to improve the handling over the stock setup. Although I did lower it about an inch all around compared to the factory ride height.
You can lower it much more if you want to as it does have the capabilities, but the roads and driveways in my area prevent me from going much lower.
I have had this setup for a few years now and since I have installed it my car rides significantly better and handles even better than I can drive it!
Absolutely no regrets in this purchase, probably the best aftermarket product I have ever purchased.
Good luck!

*Because there is only garbage below that price.
I agree there is no reason to spend that kind of money unless you need it for racing. Hell I have QA1 coilovers on the front of my 84 and I did it for well under $1K. And other then they have more adjustment then I can comprehend they work great.
I did the basic longer lowering bolts in the rear with new Billstien shocks and QA1 coil overs in the front. It handles great for a street car and allows me to get whatever ride height I want. Now that my driveway is fixed I'm going to drop it another inch next summer.
