Default Little things mean a lot!

 This weekend, I decided to finally check out (use) the test connectors i got from MAD about a year ago

Car was running fine, so it was more or less a "rainy day in the garage" exercise.

Found two things...O2 sensor was close to the limit and Tps adjustment was a little past the limit.

Put in a new O2 sensor ($30) and adjusted TPS to Factory .54

Big difference! Gas mileage is better and throttle response is greatly improved.

Just goes to prove....don't overlook the little stuff

Oh come on, do it the hard way... scratch your head, pull the parts out one by one and clean em, put them back in and see if it works, drink lots of beer when it doesn't, then start replacing everything one by one until it works!

Test connectors? That's almost like reading the manual before you start the job.
Don't tell us you have come ricer blood in you!

I think we've all overlooked the obvious and little things at times.

Jack, I simply go out and buy a bunch of parts and try em. If the problem is still there I happily add the good old part to my good old spare parts box. Of course "pay it forward" should run every Christmas then I will have more stuff to send out. IROAN :flag

 Sorry guys :smash:

I don't know what came over me! :bb

Like I said, it was raining, the parts store was closed and I had this test stuff I bought from MAD over a year ago and hadn't opened!

I promise to return to my old ways! I have this new noise, coming from someplace underneath, so I will be buying a fan belt, air pump, maybe even an alternator this weekend to see if the noise goes away

can I get back in the club?

:steering: [I love that Lil Guy]

Ps Tom, how ya doing?
