1995 LT1 Crate Motor
Fuel pressure regulator went out and hydro locked cylinders. Was just pouring fuel in. pulled plugs, hand cranked from the balancer to get all fuel out. drained oil (full of fuel) and added a little oil through spark plug holes to lube top of cylinder before firing up. Car fired right up then oil pressure began dropping and then knock. CRAP!
Pulling motor but what are my choices for a crate motor and where can i get one. Found Golen online and in a couple threads. Most LT1 threads relate to the newer gen LS motors.
I would have no issues rebuilding this one, but just seeing if there are other options.

Not sure if you're in Portland OR or Portland ME but I noticed that you have a chip from TJWONG. Tom is one of the top corvette tuners here in the PNW. He would be an excellent source for what you're asking.
