Start issues L98
I have a start issue with my 1990 L98, when I turn the ignition on I can hear it prime and when I press the start button it tries to
fire up but doesn’t. Then I can hear the fuel pump trying to re-prime but taking longer but won’t try to start after that just fuel pump noise. If I leave it for a while it will try to start again with the same result.
Any ideas?
if left overnight initial prime reads 20psi, probably enough just to make it try to fire.
After that pretty much 0psi even though the pump sounds like it’s trying to re-pressurise.
when I bled the test gauge a lot of air in the pipe.
I might add the whole fuel system pipes have been replaced before getting this problem.
Air lock or bad pump?
