Just recently finished my Mini Ram and cam install and was doing some datalogging to send to the tuner. The car stumbles and sometimes backfires at light partial throttle. I was going through a data log and am getting figures that do not make logical sense. I've attached a screenshot, does anyone have any thoughts about what could be causing this? Bad ECU or tune possibly?

I don't use DataCat... My understanding is that certain ECM/PCMs that communicate with a CCM, there needs to be a command in your datalogging software that tells the CCM to stop talking on the data line.
This is '91 I assume based on your other thread? Are you able to datalog with the TunerPro RT and send some log files? If you need adx file to datalog, let me know. Something is definitely not right. Those values look grazy. Could be the ccm that stew suggested...

Failed to mention if you suspect it's the chatter from the CCM, can't comment on DataCat but with TunerPro RT, you need to start the engine first before you start the datalogging. If you key on engine off and start the datalog, at this point you may see sensible data but when you start the engine it'll restart the CCM and the data goes wonky. Perhaps experiment with this method using DataCat before diving into other datalogging software.

Thanks Stew, if I remember correctly I did start the datalog and then turned the engine over. I’ll try it this way and report back.
