Default Electric Water Pump Conversion - Cannot Remove Drive Sprocket

Hello Corvette Forum, I have a 1982 Firebird with a '95 LT1 Corvette engine. I'm in the process of converting to an electric pump (Meziere Heavy Duty) but I am stuck. I cannot seem to remove the water pump drive sprocket. Despite having removed the timing chain and the two T30 bolts on the bracket behind it, the thing won't budge. I have pulled on the thing pretty hard but feel like maybe I'm missing something? The bracket behind the sprocket is loose as you can see from the image and the gear turns freely but there is no play outwards when pulling.
I looked for guides on this but could only find info on pump housing mods. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

..... Its been a long time since I've been inside an LT1 but as memory serves me there is a bearing on the back side of that that fits into a bore in the block ... it should be an interference fit and would need to come out straight ... try to rig up a slide hammer type of puller rather than prying on it ... I'm sure someone with more intimate knowledge of LT engines will chime in .....

There's actually a specialty Kent Moore tool J-39243 that's mentioned to be 'often NOT needed'. There's many images if you search eBay.

I usually tap out from the intake valley side. If the intake is still on a slide hammer would be needed to bull the pressed in bearing/shaft out.

Thank you all for the helpful suggestions! I'll try to rig a slide hammer for this tonight. If that doesn't work, I'll get the puller part. Been quite the Optispark replacement journey LOL

Success! It is out.
Now I just need to find the correct size freeze plug, shouldn't be too difficult for me to find.
