Default inner window felts

Have any of you guys replaced the inner window felts. They appear to be stapled to the door panel. What is the method to replace them?

I replaced mine a few years ago and I stapled them. I used a T50 hand stapler and bent the tabs over with plyers.

myself i riveted. worked great.

to the OP...getting the inner sweeps off of an old early car is tedious and time consuming. The risk is breaking the plastic. the staples used by the factory were like adamantium iirc. my recollection is that i used a dremel cut whell to cut the staple, then pulled/fought with each leg. i remember thinking there must be an easier way but i couldnt figure it out!!

Heating the inner panels up will prevent them from cracking when you staple them
