Default screwed on a bolt

While redoing the interior of my 85, I stripped the torx bolt that held on the seatbelt clip on the drivers console. Suck. Ok, so I'll just put the vise grips on and wrench it off. Nope, all its doing is slipping. WD-40 useless. After 4 hours and multiple gashes in my hands/arms, I'm out of ideas? Anyone have one? Just to make sure, that bolt should be untightened towards the front of the car correct? It won't seem to turn either way.

Can you get in there with a dremel in an effort to put a slot in the head for a flat-head screw driver bit. If you can't turn it with a screw driver after that, try using an (non-air) impact wrench/hammer. The type were you hit the top of the tool with a hammer and it turns the bit at the bottom of the tool.

Not sure how much interior you have in the car....you could if theres room, mig weld a larger socket to it and then turn it out. I would try some other ways first, unless it lends itself to doing the weld.

Ah HA! Piggybacking off the dremel idea, I sawed off 2 square sides and got a decent grip. I am mounting this bolt on my wall.
