I have an '89 with, currently, some very mild mods. But I'm planning on doing much more this spring. I'm curious if a custom tune would be worth it, and if so, at what point should I have it done based on the below mods? I'm only including performance mods.
Current
Frisbee Delete
K&N Air Filter
Air Filter Housing Mod
Header back 3" SS Exhaust - All cats deleted.
Spring - In order of planned install
3.07 Rear Diff (from 2.59)
TPIS Long Tube Headers (planning on keeping EGR)
Edelbrock Big Mouth Intake base, ASM Runners, Ported Plenum
1.6 SS Full Roller Rockers
Any of that going to benefit from a custom tune?

I would say that you probably do not need a tune for those mods, drive it and see. The car is a MAF car so any increase in airflow will be detected and adjusted for. The gears may tune if the lockup converter seems goofy but it may OK for what you like.
