There seem to be some leaks of coolant and oil at the back of the engine, from the center region and I suspect intake manifold gasket is leaking. Previously I ‘ve tested the cooling system for leaks and I’ve used a low volume high pressure hand pump, and I was expecting the pressure to build up much slowly but since the air inside the cooling system has a very low volume, when I checked the gauge it was already 1.6bars and coolant started to leak everywhere (back, front, hoses, radiators…)
After the test the system would leak slightly, very low amounts for a good while but a few days ago it started leaking from the back pretty bad, like 1 drop per second.
Anyway, I already have a felpro set but I spoke to a mechanic and they said they didn’t have a good experience with felpro intake gaskets they used on other SBC cars and recommended me something that has a rubber seal around the ports. For these I would need to wait several weeks to import them from US.
What do think about this?

I've used felpro several times and just put silicone around the water openings. (I have had my intake off several times for upgrades. (Cam, Heads, Intake)
Before I started with the upgrades I had a leak at the steam hose on the back of the intake.....Changed the whole gasket set only to find the leak was still there. So check that steam hose really well.
