Default LT4, replacing injectors--plugs at the same time?

I likely have at least one leaky injector so I'm thinking to replace them. Thread where this was determined, here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...when-warm.html

I'm looking for "best practices." My particular questions:
  • Should I try a fuel system clean, i.e., Sea Foam, first, or just replace the injectors?
  • If replacing injectors, should I replace plugs at the same time? Will a leaky injector have fouled its plug?
  • If replacing injectors, should I replace other fuel system components also, e.g. filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, or is that overkilling it?

Well I think I'm shouting down a well, lol. [echo..echo]

If anyone is interested in the conclusion: I decided to drain and clean the fuel tank, replace the fuel pump, replace the fuel filter, replace the injectors (FIC Bosch III 26lb), replace the plugs (Denso 0.40 Iridium), replace the plug wires (Taylor Spiro-Pro). I might be overkilling it, but maybe once-and-done on fuel system issues if I am very lucky.

I just finished doing basically everything you did (except wires) on my 86 convertible L98. My car sat in a museum for years so the fuel system was clogged to all hell. I pulled the sending unit, cleaned out the tank, replaced fuel pump and sock. Blew out the fuel lines. Replaced fuel filter. Replaced O rings in the fuel rails/lines. Replaced FPR. Replaced injectors with rebuilt Bosch III's form FIC. Replaced spark plugs. Runs like new now. Starts immediately hot or cold. Although it should with only 7300 miles on it.

Ethanol gas gums the fuel systems up pretty bad on cars that don't get run a lot. So if your 96 LT4 sat a lot over the last 26 years, It's a good bet that ethanol has gummed it all up. I think you'll be happy with how it runs after you replace all of the worn parts.

Awesome, that validation is valuable to me, this is my first time down this road. While my specimen is a little more experienced than yours at 40K miles, it's been max 1-1.5K/year for at least 15 years, so not a lot of action. And POs seems to have known nothing about maintenance except regular motor oil and filter, so I've been replacing 27YO fluids, etc. Fuel system service never, I suspect. Thank you for the feedback!
