Default drivers hood latch drain

Where is the drain for this area? Mine is clearly clogged.

There's a little slot in the bottom corner. Remove the 3 bolts with a 10mm to remove the latch. I opened my slot up more with an old flat screwdriver.

This is a picture I swiped to show folks where the drain is. I suggest extending the drains with clear vinyl tubing so they dump under the car, instead of onto the battery/battery tray on the driver's side and I don't know where yet on the passenger's. I have to do the passenger side yet.

You take the side panel off and remove the battery to get good access on the driver's side.

On the other hand I've been using a turkey baster to suck the water out of the driver's side for the past seventeen years on my 95.

Except that is the cowl drain, not the hood latch drain. Checking that will never solve his issue.

there is a small slot cut in the back corner of the hood latch by the firewall.

as mentioned just remove the three bolts and move the plate out of the way.

It's over here.

I had to open the slot up on the driver side only. About as big as pictured above.

Thanks, not sure I would have found it without the picture. There was so much rusty mud, crud, and water in mine even poking a screw driver around didnt really do much. Ended up just hammering on a small screw driver with a ratchet in the corner until it broke free and the water spilled out.
