Thanks. I bought the rear end for a project and I didn't know if the donor car was a stick or an auto.I have been told that 3.45's were only in the 6 speeds but I want to know for sure.How else can a Dana be identified? :chevy

The DANA 36 diff has 3 bolts across the top of the case, the DANA 44 has two. See the archived post below...
