My guess would be removing the rod and sliding the large opening end down first and the small opening can probably be stretched enough to go over the white plastic end, being carful to not tear it. Other option would be opening the motor up, sliding the white plastic part out, putting the boot over it, and placing the white plastic rod into the motor.
The plastic actuator is one piece. Unless that small hole really stretches, its not going on.
I would put some lithium grease or anything nice and slick into the boot and slide it down over the rod end carefully and I bet it would slide over that...I mean, it's gotta go on somehow...
The boot is actually made for c3 headlight actuators with a rod. I may try one but i have a feeling it will be a waste of money. I find them in the yards all the time but they are rotted out too.
