TB project for the CFI guys
I know there are some on here that may want to know this stuff, so here it is...I'm in the early starting stages to plan my next motor project already. Nothing wrong with my current 383 and it runs just fine, but this will be a big inch motor 400+ cu in, not telling how big though just yet. This is another project started recently on boring TBs to 2 inch while still retaining the balance port without busting thru the castings and can be done no problem. Also going to mod these with more mods. This is all to get ready for the next motor project that I hope to actually get to build, the stumbling block is/was the fueling and I think I have it figured out how to do that and still maintain a good DC on the injectors. I will have to send my EBL back to Dynamic EFI for a small mod that I will require. Wouldn't a Tripower TB setup look and be cool? The big motor will be 100% CFI just to prove a point that if done correctly, they will run like the wind. Enjoy!
I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess anyway 434 or 427 or lastly a 454 small block using an aftermarket block. I got a TBI Chevy truck and have always liked the simplicity of the Cross Fire set up so thank you.

Well, it will definitely be a Dart SHP block. However, the prices have gone up considerably since my current 383 build three years ago. You could pick one up for $1,500 no problem. Ugh!
