Default 1995 engine and transmission assembly together?

Hi
Here`s new Corvette fan with 1995 LT-1 project. I have rebuilt engine and automatic transmission outside of the car. Can I assemble engine and transmission back as a one package? I have no car lift available but jack stands only.
All advice is highly appreciated. This is my first Corvette project. I have the shop manual but it does not say anything about this. I did not take those out myself.

Without engine and tranny

You can yeah, as long as you have the room, and plenty of help.

Thanks! My idea is to remove the hood, and then tilt and wiggle the whole package in. I have done it with old Cadillacs but better ask first before try that with C4. Sure C4 has much less space, and much more wires and hoses!! But if there is no technical reason to prevent that then I will try.

You might have to put the front end up on ramps or jackstands. (Ramps are in my opinion safer than jackstands when dropping in that much weight) in order to get enough room to clear the transmission tailshaft. I have put engines in that way with my dad doing the lowering and I was pushing the tail shaft up and pulling it back.

Good point about insuring enough clearance. I have done this job myself by putting the tailshaft on a small dolley. I believe used one from my snowmobile mover set.

A small dolly or perhaps just a single 'caster wheel' that you could put in an extension housing C-Beam bore.

If you have an aftermarket Oil pan either forget putting them in together or remove the pan first. Since You did not remove the Engine and Trans, take the time and figure out each and every wire and hose before installing. You will be so far ahead with them all marked than trying to figure it out when there is no room to work or see.

Good idea to mark all hoses and wires, thanks. Oil pan is original.
