Have a 88 C 4 4+3 that I had to jump off and recharge battery [been sitting up] Seems like I saw one time that doing that can give you SES light.
Does anyone know ? Also saw a "loose gas cap " can do the same........Also saw that disconnecting the battery ground wire can reset the SES light.
Does any of that sound possible ? Does the SES light have anything to do with oil or radiator problems ? Car seems to be running fine . Thanks
for any thoughts
If the SES light is lit, there will codes set to tell you what is malfunctioning and where to start troubleshooting. There are many threads on the forum that will list how to read codes with a paper clip, and will list what the codes mean.
If the SES light is lit there is a problem you should repair.
