Default High idle issue...

So I'll start with saying all of my sensors are new, and I just put a set of head gaskets and resealed the intake and check for vacuum leaks all over the car. there are none. When I first fire the car up with the laptop on it all the numbers look good and my IAC counts are between 20 and 30 at idle. As soon as I drive it around the block and come back I get hung with about 1000 or 1100 idle in my IAC counts are down to five or so. My question is because I don't know what the previous owner did before I got it and it did have some issues when I got it, does a 5 IAC count indicate I'm getting too much air at idle at that point? If that's the case I'm suspect that he tried to adjust the butterfly idle screw to make it idle higher but when I got it it had an oxygen sensor problem it was bad and that'll keep it from idling correctly. Anyone?

I will add as soon as I start driving it all the numbers fall back into place it looks like a new motor for all I can tell. I did put long tube headers on it and it idle it looks to be running a little bit on the lean side but as soon as I drive all the numbers come right back to where they need to be and I'm pretty sure I need to probably convert at some point to a three wire oxygen sensor I just haven't gotten around to that yet. But the oxygen sensor seems to be reacting and air fuel seems to be within check

Just in case anyone was wondering I popped the cover off the throttle adjustment screw in the throttle body. I turned it back in about a thread and a half and then drove it... Guess what it fixed the problem. Now my TPS voltage is running a little low so I need to readjust that and reset everything and it's probably good to go
