Default Upgraded driving/fog lights

Like title says. Are there any aftermarket upgraded driving/fog that are street/DOT legal to replace using the flip up headlights? Never liked the looks of these when turned on. Something that fits in factory bumper light

There are several LED options. If you do a search here there are a few threads on the subject. As far as legality just avoid HID's in fog housings and you're fine.

I checked the search option and found nothing, would this be as simple as a bulb change upgrade?
Thanks, Mike

OP is not looking for headlight solutions if I am reading it right, rather something that will fit in the fog light housing. I don't think you are going to find any solution, let alone a simple bulb swap, that will give you the lighting you need to be safe out of that housing. It is small and not designed to be your primary source of light on the road. I don't have a deep expertise or data to support. It's just an opinion based on some experience trying a few things with the fog lights. Good luck! Will watch with interest.

Yes, thanks turtle96, I am looking to try to NOT use the flip headlights and utilize the bumper driving light and possibly upgrade the bulb only if possible to a higher powered light like all the other modern vehicles have today that basically blind you when in the rearview mirror hahaha

I converted my whole car to LED. There were some minor wiring modifications and special bulbs needed along the way but I eventually got everything working right. Sadly I did not keep a good list of what bulbs I used. One of the things I did was install switchback leds in the turn signal/park lamp position. That way the lights would be the same color as the fog lights and then switch amber once the turn signal was used.

Here is a video showing the brightness compared to the led headlights. I would not use these exclusively at night. But around dusk they are plenty bright enough to be seen by other cars.

I like the OPs idea of brighter fogs but can they be aimed to create a good enough pattern to use in place of normal headlights? I've never really put any thought into trying to aim mine.
