Staring issues on the 88...
Now that I've got my sisters 88 back up and running we are finding the starter doesn't always want to do it's job.
My sis says it acted up a little before the recent head gasket replacement and with my brief use of it while sorting it out I found sometimes I had to work the starter a few times to get it to turn the motor over sufficiently to start it.
When the car was all sorted after the head gasket r&r I washed the car. The starter did get wet during this process and then refused turn turn at all. At this point my sister decided to tell me that she often had starting issues after she washed it.
Before I get stuck into playing with the starter itself or look into replacement of it, I'm just wondering if it might not be the starter itself but a bad ground or wiring.

Had a look at it last night and I think my question in the post above was premature.
