So I brought my 85 4 plus 3 to a shop. They said it had some problems. And I was better off working on them myself. No worries. But, then they said that given the camshaft I have in the 85 Lunati 212/226 @ 0.50
483/520 112 separation
1.5 rockers483/520 112 separation

1.5 rockers
The car is not going to run correctly because the LSA is going to confuse the ECM. I should consider the Holley system. If they use the GM ECM it will run but not well.
This car has alot of my money
. Another 2 K is a lot.
Frankly I am thinking it is CHEAPER just to pull the cam and go stock.
I really need opinions here. I know I can put a newer ECM in but the repining seems very dificult. I would rather by the Holley than repin.

Thank you all for your help on this.

I believe you can tune it yourself. It's old technology but there are tons of sites out there where you can buy hardware and chips to do it yourself. I found this site that the guy running it will burn you a chip. He also has a bunch of links to where to buy stuff to do it yourself. It says LT1 in the URL, but he deals with tbi and tpi too.

I'm getting a lot of feedback saying that. I'm going to correct some of what he mentioned. Then go to one of the tuners you guys are mentioning. Thank you

That cam is not very big, if you raise the idle RPM it will probably run fine. Have someone tune the car for increased idle speed to 750 and see how it works. Also set the minimum idle speed at 700 RPM and you should be fine.

Thank you. I think I am going to address the issues he mentioned. Get it running. I have TunerPro RT software. Download a run and send it to some of the Chip people mentioned on here of FB.
Thank you again
