I image those are from a '90 FSM but all years vary somewhat. A quick glance at an '89 FSM mentions 11 N-m & 8 lbs. ft.
I just went through a bunch of FSM for various years and found a variance as well....
8ft lbs (96in lbs)
9ft lbs (108in lbs)
12ft lbs (144in lbs)
The aftermarket manual such as ATSG seem to favor 9ft lbs depending on year.
Edit: I also looked in a 1986 Chevy Truck FSM and that manual has both: 12ftlbs p.700R4-48, 8 ftlbs p.700R4-56
I didn't realize there was was so much variance. Plus I did find some "typos".
They are 8mm 1.25 but you can't go by standard torque charts because these are in an aluminum case.
Anyway. Seeing as how that gasket is sliced up the way it is, I'd say it's just over-torqued. But that's just from where I'm sitting, looking at a picture. If that's the case, then obviously the pan would need another look to see if it's also been pulled in. Seeing where those bolts dug in lends to that. Occam's razor and whatnot...

Reason: typos

As I said previously- the torque never went past 108 inch-lbs. On the last pass- the pan was aluminum- thick rail- no flex, no bending. The gasket was supposed to be re-usable- that's all I was trying to point out. It was $40.
He used Permatex 81158 so I tried that with a Summit aluminum pan, 25mm UHL stainless steel cap screws, split lock washers, and a Fel-Pro gasket.
I coated the gasket on one side and coated the pan rail, then installed it 3/18/23.
I added 4qts/8pts synthetic fluid 3/22/23
So far 3/24/23 no leaks.
Thanks
