The door action can't totally cover that but, I take it you have the automatic climate control (C-68) but did you try to max out the temperature settings. Because I'm thinking it's kind of floating to maintain a certain temperature.
As for the washer fluid. If you push the button does it **** out there or anywhere else
Yes, I do have the C68, although it doesn't work in auto mode. I have no idea why. I run the AC on recirculation mode. As I started before, I tried different settings, but the door continued doing the same.
isn't the door supposed to close on recirculation mode?
As for the washer fluid, the T is almost completely severed. All the fluid gushes out at the T.
That fitting falls under the “bulkhead” category more than a classic “T”
. If it were me I’d clip the hose where it’s broken at the fitting, then clean out the bulkhead fitting with a drill bit by hand.
Since you still have some proper size hose left, I’d use some hot glue and shove it back in the hole making sure to give it a straighter approach so you can avoid the acute angle that broke the first one.
If repair is not possible then you could always drill out the bulkhead fitting or remove it entirely, run some new hose through the opening with a standard “T” on the other side to feed the washer nozzles.
