So my car was sitting for maybe a little over a month or so and recently started to drive it again and yesterday March 20, 2023 after I got out of work I decided to go for a drive and when I decided to start driving back home and get back on the freeway I felt a slight jerk I thought nothing of it since I thought it was just traction control but when I am a few streets away from my neighborhood every time I start to accelerate from a stop the car starts to jerk so I let off the gas and try to accelerate again but It still jerks until maybe around 30mph (I will have to see what speed and RPM it stops jerking at) does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
What transmission do you have? Did it feel like drivetrain slipping (with engine revving), electrical "cut-out", or something else?
Automatic transmission, no engine revving it remained at the same stable rpm of about 2,500 it felt like if it lost power then it would just come back on again Im going to take it out tomorrow and get a better feel of what the feeling is like

So it turns out it was jerking because it was low on gas, when I saw reserve on the dash I thought it was on because I was messing with the buttons on the center console, clearly my first C4. Also found out why Corvette owners don't take they're cars out in the rain, stay safe

Glad you got it figured out. So you know, it's good to keep the tank above the 1/4 mark. Many have noticed a problem with gas "starvation" in spirited turns when the tank is somewhat low. The easiest solution is to keep the level from getting very low. I also ran out of gas once just BEFORE the reserve light came on! Before and after that day, I hit reserve w/o issue. Oddly, it was just after installing a new fuel pump (which sits in the tank). It's possible the gauge float stuck -- then released after that 1st tank load but I start looking for the nearest station the second I hit reserve. (The new fuel pump cured the corning issue which is why I don't necessarily follow the 1/4 tank suggestion anymore.)
