Default purplexed please help!!!!

ok here is the scenario i have just completed the engine swap i have an 87 tpi i have fuel pressure at the fuel rails (new holly high flow pump) and i have spark but the enigne wont run i pulled the plugs and there not even wet, which leads me to belive the injectors are not firing!!! any help as to why this is happening would greatly be appreciated!!! :banghead: this was a swap on my 84 cross fire to the 87 tpi i have the ecm from the 87 i have the 84 steering column without the passkey could this be the problem? no pass key signal to the ecm?

i have the 84 steering column without the passkey could this be the problem? no pass key signal to the ecm?

I think you hit the nail on the head. Without the squarewave from the VATS module on pin B6 of the ECM, the injectors won't fire. There are squarewave generators available to supply this, you could build one is you're of the electronic persuasion or you can have the PROM burned to make the ECM ignore pin B6 and pulse injectors anyway.
