Default Performance Question

92 vert LT1
Well it almost 80 here in W Texas, so I took a"spirited" drive into the country side. Top down wind in my beard, on a rural streatch of hwy I decided to blow the cobwebs out, mind you I have never really opened her up since owning. I hit 100 before I knew it when I crossed 115 the front end did not seem as stabil. No shimmys or wondering, just didn't fell as stabil. I have 4 new shoes 34lbs each 4 corners were alighned with the new shoes. could this be the convertable effect? I always heard that vert's suffer stability issues

Sounds like the front end is getting light due to aerodynamic lift. This is not uncommon. The way(s) to fix that involve lowering the ride height (especially in front), stiffening the spring and maybe damper rates, and working on aero improvements (deeper front air dam, vents in the hood and wheel housings to let high pressure out, splitter, etc.). The typical compliant about convertibles is more about their lack of frame stiffness in torsion, but I doubt that's what you're experiencing since it is speed-dependent.
