Hello I have a 88 corvette that has a melted ctsy/clk fuse I’m in the process of removing the after market security and other things that were put in before I got it but this fuse is pretty damaged idk much about fuse boxes but could I just get a inline fuse for the two wires that go to it? When the fuse is in the engine struggles to start and when it’s running the rpm’s drop
Yeah there is no reason you cant clip the wires from behind the fuse block and add an inline one. Just make sure the wires on your new fuse holder are the correct gauge. But i know the wires, especially that circuit, are very small....
