Yes, I put the frisbee back on my ‘89 roadster. I think these came stock on 88-91 L98 cars. Big and heavy rotating mass on the water pump pulley. Took it off in 2006 when I acquired the car. Hoping for 3 hp. Having some idle issues lately. Air compressor would swing the belt tensioner so hard, you could feel it in the seat. This helped a lot.

Yes, check the compressor mounting brackets out while youre in there, they're cheap pot metal and I've destroyed them before.
