Finally got this after waiting about a month. Directions are garbage. Can anyone share how they installed theirs? With the bottom sitting on the studs the top portion doesn’t line up with anything This is the only upper seatbelt hole but the bar has 2 holes in the top. 🤷♂️
I have no personal experience with it, but EM has two bars available for C4 84-89 and 90-96. Based off their pics they look fairly significantly different with the upper mounts pointing in different directions. The bar you have looks like the 84-89 bar (PN C60000). Try loosening the lower stud mounts and see if the bar rotates forward enough to get some holes to line up.
I had to cut the carpet so the EM bar was sitting completely flat. Additionally, on the one we purchased, their jig had slipped and one bar was out of alignment. It was less expensive to take it to a local shop and have the hole welded shut and then redrilled it.
I then waxed the bolt and used steel reinforced JB Weld to make a perfectly matching hole to lock the harness into place. I put mine in to triangulate the halo and stiffen the body up.
