Then why hasnt anyone else here suggested foam ? There must be some drawback to it
(ex. Breaks down and clogs a filter)
Foam will break down after about 5-6 years.

You are in C4 tech where there are very few racers. Also most people racing C4’s are trying to do so on the cheap. They are willing to engineer a baffle out of a used plastic bottle as opposed to spending money on a cell
Your other solution is to install a small 1-2 gallon tank to act as the fuel supply from the pump to the engine. And then have a small lift pump from the main tank to the supply tank.

I remember reading in Hot Rod magazine years ago, that one guy had set up his fuel tank to feed a 1 gallon cell that was in front next to the radiator and fed the engine. He said it fixed his fuel starvation issues n hard launches. Is it possible that under cornering your pumps move a little, just enough to cause a leak where they connect? I think that's what my issue was.
Also it is tedious to get a lot of foam into the tank through the top opening. I think the hydra mat is a decent product but needs custom work. The best here is really a fuel cell, don't spend to much time and money for part solutions if you need the whole solution.

whats frustrating is my old single walbro 450 l/hr pump setup had no issues with fuel starvation
only the new setup does
ive compared the 2 and cant find any difference
as for the foam:
im not sure where it needs to go…
to the left and right of the bucket?
The entire space from the bucket edge to the edge of the tank?
how high? Same height as the bucket?
i dont want more foam then i need in there….(bc it takes up fuel volume)

It’s all or none. There is no “just throw some foam in and hope it stays where I put it and does it’s job”. That’s why nobody here talks about it. You have a float arm which needs a path to be able to work. Foam won’t allow that.
