Default Code 32 and code 36

Quick que gang 86, 4+3
aftermarket exh no cats

- For a few weeks - id get a CEL on if i were highway driving for 20-30 miles or so - i assumed Oxy Sensor but no code

yesterday, the cel came on right from the get go and doesnt seem to go off

i get a code 32 and 36
32 is Baro sensor circuit error / EGR circuit Error / MAP sensor signal open

36 is MAF sensor error / 24x crankshaft position sensor circuit error / 4T60-E Shifting error

i doubt its the trans or the crankshaft position

but how canni isolate the the Map, MAF, and Baro vs EGR?

i dont wanna just dump all those parts in for nothing. It doesn’t seem to me that the car is performing any different other than the light coming on.

thanks

Code 32 is EGR, typical to get in part throttle cruising on the hwy, its usually the solenoid/switch on the back of the intake manifold. Do you still have EGR in your new exhaust? If not, just use the diode trick, or it has to be taken out in the chip.

Code 36 is probably a MAF or its relays, there are 2 relays behind the battery on the firewall. There is a checkout procedure in the manual to isolate which of the 3 are bad, usually if one is bad you replace both relays. If your MAF is bad, you go ahead and replace both relays.

Do not throw parts at it, get the manual procedure.

How is there an EGR in the exhaust system?
i just removed the cat back system and replaced it from there - there was no O2 or sensor in the cat or further back

EGR is a pipe from the back of your intake manifold to the exhaust manifold on the passenger side. If you have done headers, you would normally delete it. Sounds like you still have it.

The O2 sensor is in the drivers side front Y pipe, that is not your issue here.
