1995 Swapping PCM?
Back story. Friend has a 95 vert that will not run. Starts, stumbles and dies. It seems to run like the timing is retarded and smells rich. Its a low milage car. All the basics have been done, plugs and wires,. Checked firing order etc The po put in a cardone opti( I believe the original is ok) then replaced the fuel pump. As he got it there was no fuel pressure, turned out to be the harness in the tank..Fuel pressure was dropping off immediately, replaced the fp regulator now steady and holding. It has spark to all plugs and is firing all injectors per noid light. Injectors also ohm checked, cleaned and flow tested. He added a new coil and icm. No codes due to the battery being disconnected. Putting a Snap on mt2500 on it i get an rpm reading, coolant sensor matches air temp. Only odd reading is the scanner shows desired idle to be 3200, my car shows 750. Key on Engine off all other reading are comparable to my 95. Going to hunt the grounds down next. Any thoughts, direction?
