Default Need TC Stall/ Gear recommendations please!

Looking for some advice please:

1995 base, with 4l60e. Transmission was rebuilt 2 year ago, and they upgraded it. Replaced all plastic parts w/metal, used a stage 2 shift kit.
I just finished building the top end of the motor. LE2 heads, Comp Cam (224/230: 574/569 112LSA), Pacesetter shorty headers, K&N filter, Trickflow 30lb injectors.

Question is this: should I change gears and TC, or just TC? I do an equal amount of interstate (80+mph) driving as I do in town. I don't track the car, and no plans to do so. It's a street machine.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. I'd specifically like to know what stall to get with either option. If I do get gears, I won't go above a 3.07/3.09.

Thank you in advance!

I'm biased but my view is that the 3.07 is just fine. If I were you I would call Yank and tell them what you've done to your LT1 and what your goals are and ask their advice on what stall.

Years ago when I had the LT4 hot cam kit & headers installed and was buying a built up 4l60e I gave Yank a call explained what I was doing and what I wanted to accomplish and they recommended their SS3200 TC. I've been very happy with it in my daily driver 95. Come to the stop sign about a mile from my house, take my foot off the brake, floor it and the burnout goes all the way through first and well into 2nd. Did it every night coming home from a 14 hour day for years (what a freeken tension reliever that is). ..... no issues ..... however because it's a daily driver I did install an after market trans cooler. This was approx 70,000 miles ago.

Several years ago I was beginning the the next phase and replaced the 3.07 D36 with a 3.45 D44 out of a 96 LT4. Life stepped in the way and I never got around to doing the 383. Still driving the car every week but I don't really feel that much of a seat of the pants difference between the 3.07 vs the 3.45. I don't race the car and these days the slightly better highway gas mileage of the 3.07 (for me) is better that the improved acceleration of the 3.45.
