'91 AC compressor keeps shutting off at certain engine temp
Hi everyone,
I've been having a weird issue with the '91 ZR1 where the AC compressor always shuts off when the coolant temp gets to 212 degrees F. Happens every single time and the compressor won't engage until the engine cools down to around 200 degrees(basically when I am not at a dead stop). I haven't been able to find this issue anywhere on the forums. Just put in a brand new compressor with R12. I am getting no fault codes on the climate control module in the car. Does anyone know what can be causing this? Could it be one of the pressure switches? Thanks.
