Would someone mind describing the speed bleeders and how they are installed and operate. I've read some brief info about them, but it's not clear if you remove the original bleed valve in the caliper and replace them with a speed bleeder or what?
How do you use them?
Thanks
give this link a try. I think it will answer your questions :D
I installed them very recently after also replacing stock rubber lines with braided steel lines. Bleeding the system was cake!!! I am very happy with them. All air came out real easy and pedal is firmer than ever! BTW, I found mine at Autozone for $10.00 a pair. Get some, it makes servicing the system way easier.

Thats what I paid for them online from Summit (local places didn't have them).
Size is 10mm x 1.0 if you need to know. I'll be putting them on the vette before spring!
I have or I should say had. Mine worked great the first time I used them. Then a couple years later I had to bleed them again, and only one worked. the others looked liked they where frozen.
But if you where to ask me if I would buy them again, I probably would.

Did you put the caps on them? If you don't........Dirt,etc..will get in the bleeders. Bleed mine a few times over the pass three years....No problems.
